Fire Brigade Presentation Axe
Pictured above is a mounted axe which is presented to members of Cork City Fire Brigade Sports and Social Club upon retirement. The head of the axe is polished and lacquered and the handle and back board are hand carved by Mr. Alan Brown, a very talented, local wood carver. The axe can be permanently mounted or attached to the back board so as to allow the axe to be taken down and admired. Each axe is individually commissioned and the Brigade cap badge is mounted along with the rank markings of the individual retiring. If you would like to have an individual piece commissioned for your Brigade, Department, Retiring colleague, Home or Office, why not e mail your specifications to Presentation and we will forward your query to Mr. Brown. (Allow at least 8 weeks for delivery due to the intricate nature of the work)
